General Insurance Code of Practice
Elders Insurance has adopted the General Insurance Code of Practice developed by the Insurance Council of Australia. The Code is designed to promote good relations and good insurance practice between insurers, their representatives and consumers.
Amongst other things, the Code sets out to improve the quality of information consumers receive, the education and conduct of insurance representatives, and the setting of standards and timeframes for claims handling and dispute resolution.
